Main Theme and Conference Topics<\/h3>\n

THE CONFERENCE THEME<\/b><\/p>\n

The conference is dedicated to overall knowledge on all taxa of parasites of humans, wildlife, domestic animals, pets and plants.<\/p>\n

The <\/b>particular topics are:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • taxonomy and biodiversity<\/li>\n
  • ecology and distribution<\/li>\n
  • epidemiology and diagnostic<\/li>\n
  • biogeography and population genetics<\/li>\n
  • molecular biology and proteomics<\/li>\n
  • immunology and host-parasite interaction<\/li>\n
  • pharmacology, anthelmintic treatment and resistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Parasitologists from clinical institutions and diagnostic laboratories from Czech and Slovak Republics are welcome to present their latest data on case reports and epidemiology in special section “Clinical parasitology”, which will be in Czech and Slovak.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Scientific Presentations<\/h3>\n
    \n

    The Conference is open to scientists, students and others interested in basic and applied research in all fields\u00a0 of parasitology.<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

    Language<\/b><\/p>\n

    The official language of the Conference is English; special section “Clinical parasitology” will be in Czech and Slovak.<\/p>\n

    Presentation Format\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    The scientific programme will consist of plenary sessions introduced by invited speakers, oral presentations, and poster presentations.
    Plenary lectures<\/span><\/strong> are scheduled for\u00a030 min<\/strong><\/span>.
    Oral presentations<\/strong><\/span> should be 15 min<\/strong><\/span> including time for discussion.
    The maximum poster<\/strong><\/span> size is\u00a0120 cm<\/strong> in height and<\/span> 90 cm<\/strong> in width<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Abstracts must be written in English. Please use Abstract Submission Form<\/b> for submitting your abstracts.<\/p>\n

    Each registered participant can submit max. 2 abstracts.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Student Scientific Competition<\/h3>\n
    \n

    Students’ oral presentations will be included into the student scientific competition and evaluated by International Scientific Board.<\/p>\n

    Prizes will be awarded for the best presentations on Thursday during the Dinner Party.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
